His Eminence Cardinal Rainer Maria Woelki visited the Bishop’s House on 21st July 2018 at 04.00 pm. He was welcomed by the Bishop. Later he went to visit Mother Theresa’s sisters home for the aged at West Hill. In the evening the diocese arranged a felicitation program at Bishop’s House followed by dinner. Fr Jerome Chinganthara was the master of the ceremony, Msgr Thomas Panakal welcomed the gathering. Fr Alex introduced the Cardinal to the audience. Bishop Varghese Chakkalakal and Jesuit Provincial superior felicitated the guest. Fr Paul Percy thanked the gathering. All the diocesan as well as Religious Priests, Nuns and Lay faithful from the different parishes and congregation took part in the event. He was honored with a shawl and gifted with a carved piece of an Indian culture. During the dinner he expressed his gratitude towards the diocese for the hospitality.
